Understanding Diversity is about treating everyone, regardless of their interests / backgrounds etc…, as a unique individual. Therefore, by helping people identify with their own uniqueness, they will better understand the concept of working with others “different” to themselves and appreciating their uniqueness.
We do this by working at three levels in our training:
All our trainers have extensive experience in delivering Diversity-related training (e.g. awareness, attitudinal and behavioural change, investigation accreditation), and consulting on Diversity issues in large organisations.
We believe that the design and delivery of Diversity training and the associated behaviour change is much more than learning and raising awareness. It is also a cultural change initiative. Therefore we can also integrate researched and validated change management principles into our training and consultancy where appropriate. This helps to ensure that the programmes are integrated as much as possible into the corporate culture, and fit appropriately with the existing organisational policies and procedures.
